Above are pieces I wrote and designed for a workshop with residents and hosts.
Each participant received a packet of custom and randomly selected "worksheets" to complete, loosely held together by a neon cover slip, documenting the present moment and the circumstances around which we were congregating.
The slip includes themes from the week explored by other residents, and easter eggs on the inner flap and back side for those who looked for them.
Taboo is a word game in which players describe words by talking around them, which felt like the perfect game for around / work. Near the end of the residency, I designed and printed custom Taboo cards, and hosted a short game at dinner. Words reference ideas that came up throughout the week, and were brainstormed with other residents.
A circular menu I designed in collaboration with Robyn Metcalfe, a food historian, who prepared the halibut chowder we had for dinner and knew where each ingredient came from.
